How important is it to have well-trained young technicians in a company? And how difficult is it to find them?
We know how essential it is for companies like ours to meet young people and spark their passion for the technical and manufacturing world, to carry forward that manufacturing excellence for which the world still chooses us today, precisely because it’s Made in Italy, precisely because it’s made well.
Among the most effective tools are the ITS Academies, post-diploma professional specialization programs that help young people find their career path in close contact with companies. The “ITS Abroad” project in Bergamo is an additional accelerator designed to welcome enterprising young people from abroad, train them, and offer them the same opportunities as Italians: to prepare themselves in the best possible way, build a solid professional life, and contribute to continuing the Italian product excellence exported all over the world.
In this interview, TGR Lombardia on RAI3 dedicates a special feature at NTS S.p.A. to the ITS Abroad project, starting from the ongoing job mismatch issue.
We are committed to offering opportunities to our companies so they can continue to excel, and this is yet another project that should increasingly become a replicable and widespread model.

At NTS, we continue to do our part by taking another step in our environmental responsibility journey. How?
We have obtained ISO 14064-1:2018 certification, which certifies the compliance of our greenhouse gas inventory with international standards. Total emissions recorded for 2023 amounted to 20,664.49 tCO₂e: a figure that represents the starting point for monitoring, evaluating, and acting with ever-increasing awareness.
Because we believe in the value of measurement and transparency to build a more attentive and responsible future.

NTS has been selected by ItalyPost among the top 100 companies out of more than 2,500 in the Dalmine district, based on results achieved during the 2021–2023 period in revenue growth, profitability, and net financial position.
This recognition motivates us to keep raising the bar and reminds us of who we are, especially during this period of market slowdown.
We were awarded yesterday, July 9, 2025, during the event hosted at the Point in Dalmine, dedicated to the region’s top-performing companies. It was a special opportunity to connect with fellow entrepreneurs and managers, where our CEO, Marco Manzoni, shared our vision and the challenges we face daily to keep growing in such complex markets.
A heartfelt thank you to all the #NTSpeople who made this achievement possible. Now it’s time to keep working, improving, and seizing new opportunities.

Trust is built over time: process by process, audit by audit, with continuity and consistency.
The IATF 16949 surveillance audit has been successfully completed — a result that confirms NTS’s commitment to continuous improvement, process and product quality, and customer satisfaction.
At NTS, we approach every audit as an opportunity to measure our performance and strengthen our method, which includes:
– Standardization, traceability, and process control at every stage
– Structured risk management
– A focus on prevention, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
– Structured planning for new product development
Certification is not a finish line, but rather confirmation that we must keep working with a “customer-first” approach.
Thanks to all the #NTSpeople who, with rigor and professionalism, make all this possible every day.

World Hydrogen Summit 2025: thank you!
Our participation in the World Hydrogen Summit 2025 in Rotterdam has come to an end: the global benchmark event for those who see hydrogen as the energy of the future.
Three intense days filled with meetings, connections, exchanges, and plenty of positive ‘energy’.
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, listened to our projects, and shared theirs with us.
Events like this remind us that the hydrogen challenge is a global one: only together can we turn the potential of hydrogen into reality for a more sustainable energy mix.

The 2025 Job Festival by Confindustria Bergamo has come to an end: a journey through schools, young talents, and opportunities. 📚
Once again this year, we had the pleasure of taking part in this initiative promoted by Confindustria Bergamo, meeting students who are about to graduate. For us, every conversation was an exchange: we shared who we are, what we do, and what it means to work in a manufacturing company like NTS. But above all, we listened to stories, dreams, and expectations. Investing time in young people today means investing in our future as a country. That’s why we continue to believe in projects like this, which tangibly connect school and business, theory and practice, training and employment, expectations and reality.
Thank you to all the organizers, teachers and their school leaders, the participating companies, and especially to the students, particularly those who stopped by our booth. Let’s get to know young people today so we can grow together tomorrow. 🏁

At NTS, we believe that sustainable innovation is only possible through cooperation between companies, research, and local communities. That’s why we have chosen to actively participate in the European project DeremCo, which promotes the creation of new collaborative supply chains for the recovery and valorization of end-of-life composite materials.
Our participation in Milan Design Week 2025, from April 7 to 13, with the DeremCo project, has come to an end, but it leaves us with a valuable legacy: the awareness that sustainability and innovation can, and must, go hand in hand.
We saw a great turnout, with many young and very young visitors curious and interested in sustainability, design, and innovation: an encouraging sign for the future.
A special thank you to the entire DeremCo team and to our colleagues who made this event possible.
Thanks also to everyone who came to visit us: every conversation was an opportunity for growth.
The journey toward a more conscious industry continues, also thanks to moments like these. ♻️
The six places to work manufacturing roadshow lands at NTS
On 22 February we opened the doors of our company for the roadshow organised by Auxiell and Euxilia, in collaboration with Great Place to Work. An opportunity to talk about Italian excellence from the point of view of the most virtuous and brilliant corporate organisations.
This roadshow was organised to showcase six Italian excellences, touching on companies in the manufacturing sector in different parts of Italy. For us at NTS, it was a great satisfaction to be a stop on this tour together with five other virtuous companies, which have embarked on the path of growth in more efficient processes and in a corporate culture that is attentive to people, despite the competitive dynamics required in B2B, even more so in contracting.

From 16 April to 3 May, an event dedicated to students
We took part in the 2024 edition of the Bergamo Job Festival: an event that welcomed 847 students and 185 companies from 16 April to 3 May
The event, organised by Confindustria Bergamo, in collaboration with the Territorial School Office and Unimpiego, is a valuable opportunity for graduating students from technical and professional institutes with a technological orientation to meet, and to promote job placement and orientation towards ITS or university training.
More than 5,000 interviews were held between students and participating companies, including NTS.
‘The objective,’ emphasised Marco Manzoni as he opened the proceedings, “is to preserve the specificity and wealth of the Bergamo area, which owes much to its manufacturing, which is chosen by markets all over the world, but where there is a growing problem of a shortage of human resources, which strongly threatens its development. Hence the need to deploy every possible action to encourage the meeting between companies and the younger generations by offering them more awareness of the working world’.
On 1 May 2024, after a 38-year career at NTS, Gianluigi Benedetti, head of the Mould Design Technical Office at NTS, was awarded the honour of Maestro del Lavoro and decorated with the Star of Labour Merit by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella.
An honour that for those of us who work with Gigi every day is worth even more, having had proof of his commitment and passion, values that we have also chosen to bring to our communication channels through video clips of an interview we did together. Watch them all on our social media!
